D1 Hockey Prospects

Guiding Top Hockey Prospects on the Path to Athletic and Academic Excellence

Do You Have What it Takes to Reach your Goals as a Hockey Player?

Do you have the talent to reach your goals as a hockey player? What path will you take to meet those goals? How can you develop your skills to maximize your chances of success? The first step is identifying your skills and assessing every aspect of the your game. The second step is creating a Player Development Plan. The final step is putting in the work required to follow the plan; that's the hard part!

Assessing player potential can be challenging. There are countless examples of players who were predicted to have a future in the NHL but ultimately never went on to play the game at the highest levels. Conversely, there are a multitude of players who flew below the radar and went on to play Division 1 College hockey and beyond. Scouting is not a perfect science but D1hockey Prospects.com has an excellent record of identifying the very best players. (scroll down to see a list of players we scouted when they were PeeWees and identified as top prospects)

There are many factors involved in achieving your goals as a hockey player; the key is creating and following a plan to achieve those goals. D1Hockey Prospects.com offers video analysis and Player Development Planning.

Video Analysis and Player Development Plans - How the Process Works:

  • Choose a game you would like to be videoed (We will be at several major tournaments)
  • D1 Hockey Prospects will attend your game and video every shift you are on the ice
  • D1 Hockey Prospects.com will then analyse your video and prepare a detailed tactical and technical skill assessment
  • Set up a time for a 45 minute Zoom session to review the tape and our player skill assessment
  • After the holistic assessment of your tactical and technical skills, you'll receive a written summary of the key elements of the video review and your Player Development Plan
  • The rest is up to you!
